Our Frenchie girls tend to like to have babies around the holidays. I’m not quite sure why that is but it’s just been how it is for a while now.
Nola was due July 4th, so we went in on the 3rd to see if the numbers were right for a c-section. Her progesterone numbers were still too high so we had to white knuckle it during the long 4th of July Holiday weekend.
She held out on Thursday the 4th, and Friday the 5th, but in the early wee hours of Saturday the 6th she decided it’s go time. One thing that was important to remember about her is when whe is ready, she goes from 0 to 100 very quickly. We made it with enough time this time that we did not have to deliver a puppy in the car. Yay us!
She had 5 sweet little frenchie babies, but sadly we lost one little girl that came out already crossed over. The final count 1 male, and 3 female. Such a pretty variety of color patterns. This litter is co-owned with Bonnie of Silver Hammer.
These little babes are doing so well. Eating good and strong and Nola is a wonderful momma. I am in love with this litter and I am very much looking forward to watching them grow up.
